Apple Logos & The Golden Ratio

You know the Golden Ratio, right?

In mathematics and the arts, two quantities are in the golden ratio if the ratio of the sum of the quantities to the larger quantity is equal to the ratio of the larger quantity to the smaller one. The golden ratio is an irrational mathematical constant, approximately 1.6180339887

Apple has been notorious in using this in their designs. Example, the iCloud Logo:

Well it turns out even the original Apple Logo has quite a bit of Golden ratio there:

    We can find the golden ratio in all Apple’s products. Since the hardware of the Macs and iGadgets until the interface design of the Mac OS and iOS systems, in the icons, web site. Everything. it’s a great branding.
