Martha Graham, Ryan Woodward & Google’s Doodle: A Celebration of 3 Different Art Forms

Today’s Google Doodle was a tribute to Martha Graham, who is considered the mother of modern dance.

Martha Graham (May 11, 1894 – April 1, 1991) was an American dancer & choreographer of modern dance, whose influence on dance has been compared with the influence Stravinsky had on music, Picasso had on the visual arts, or Frank Lloyd Wright had on architecture

The Art was done by Ryan Woodward, who was made famous by the youtube video “Thought of You“.

The Google Doodle & the code behind is quite a bit of art itself. It’s just one image that has been nipped to ‘play’ on load.

This is the image:

Three works of art:

  • Dance
  • Art
  • Code

In one page.

Amazing isn’t it?
