Why SEO Will Die
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in the traditional sense will die soon.
Why? Because Google is now implementing the "DIGG-style" functionality on it's search results.
What's that? Well just look at the following image:
You'll see on a result page, you can choose move a search result to the top by clicking on the up-arrow corresponding result, which will be marked by an orange asterisk next time you search for the same keywords. If you think the link result is irrelevant, you can hide it in future searches for the same keywords by clicking on the X button next to the title of the result.
In this manner, Google is empowering its users to partially choose the results that are served to them. If a site is meaningless, users have the power to make it disappear.
So what will happen to traditional SEO? It will evolve into something different. Users will be deciding what really the RIGHT results on the page. Thus SEO should start tweaking website's user-perception.
What should you do as an Search Engine Marketer? Start developing your own 'authority' sites. You can't just fool the search engines anymore - you have to convince users too.

This only works if you are login to your G account. I don’t think SEO will die since you still need to rank for the user to visit your site. Also not internet user uses G account? I’m not sure :D
