Based on the WordPress back end, this is the 500th post on this blog.
Made me realize how long I’ve been posting my thoughts online. Looking back at this blog’s short history, I’ve been through quite a bit.
I just started blogging for the heck of it. Then I learned I could actually earn a bit from blogging. What did I do? I studied Search Engine Optimization, Marketing and E-commerce. I reported what I learned online.
Eventually, someone saw my writing and hired me partly based on what they saw here. Later on, I transferred to an even bigger company. I was also recognized there because of my previous blogging thoughts and experiences.
What’s the point?
Sharing a little about yourself, albeit scary, can be helpful. It serves as an informal resume. It gives people an insight into how you think. They may not agree with you, but what the hell…right? Risk a little. Those who agree with you will eventually recognize your talents.
