A Quiet Workspace and Increased Productivity
I was recently moved to another work area. Along with that came some changes in the furniture and office equipment.
I’ve got a phone, some pens, a laptop, a cactus and a mug. There’s also food in the mobile pedestal at the side.
I know it’s pretty bare.

I’ve discovered that without distractions, my productivity increased quite a bit. A personal office space like this helps me focus. It is quiet and this allows me to think.
I need some more inspirational and artsy stuff here. Any suggestions?

how about a limited edition mike bernardo exclusive print of a voltes V toy photograph!
or… maybe just get yourself one of those digital picture frames so you can have it cycle through tons of pictures– i find it calming to see pictures- it reminds me of why i got into the rat race in the first place.
work hard. play hard.
@Vida: Yeah.. I will put something like that but I want the electronic photo display. It flips images. Problem is, it’s worth 4 Thousand Pesos. I’m holding off putting a pic until then.
@Mike: EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! Great minds think alike. Hehe.
looks like you have what you need.

my desk is as bare as yours
@Alfred: Yeah but I need something creative to inspire me.
I’m thinking of putting a small aquarium.
Hi,
Researches say it that when offices have more space, more comfortable and ergonomic office furniture and better equipments, the overall productivity increases. The motivation level in the office gets a boost and a better work culture is promoted.
Yeh me too. I am looking for something that does perpetual motion.
