While studying and analyzing the Science of Getting Rich, I’ve come to an interesting thought:
You must think be like water – it flows and overcomes any obstacles that are set before it. From the top of the mountain where ice melts, the streams go through rock, soil, plants, and whatever to meet the sea.
Surprisingly, living things are attracted to the stream because of the living essence it provides all.
Be like water.
I was rather surprised at myself for coming up with this. It seemed, however, the most apt metaphor of what I wanted to say.
You see, for you to be wealthy (or to be anything you want to be), you have to follow the pull of ‘gravity’. Your gravity is what you think. You are pulled towards what you think.
Water, in its natural state, is pulled by gravity from the mountain towards the sea. There’s nothing stopping it from moving and getting there. It takes while and many obstacles will face it – but it perseveres.
Water also has another important quality – it nourishes all that is around it. If has the power to facilitate the growth of life. It is more than just itself – it interacts with those around it and leaves them with something more.
Entrepreneurs and businessmen, I believe, should also have this quality. You must have life-giving power within you. You can influence other people to success by your mere presence and existence.
Be like water. :)

I like the article. It’s deep and robust.
Question: do you have your mastermind group?

Hi Jun, thanks!
No I don’t. What’s that, if I may ask?

In Think and Grow Rich and The Science of Getting Rich, the Hill and Wattles talk about surrounding yourself with Mentors, your mastermind group. Ziglar says that you are the average of the the 4 people you spend the most of your time with..
The group is there to support each other and help each other reach successes.

I guess a mastermind group can be equated to a group of mentors. I remember in a previous occupation, a group of internet of entrepreneurs would always meet up in the pantry at around 3pm to discuss ideas and other strategies for their own businesses. Other members of the group will then provide their constructive comments to help each others plan. It usually ends up getting better insights as the group is benefiting from a lot of perspectives.
Nice theme by the way, I also recommend the Options theme by the same designer of this them.
Cheers!

Ow. Then I guess I already have one! LOL. I’ve got some very talented people. Guess I have to read Ziglar now as well.
Yes, I saw the options theme. It’s also nice.
