Most of my blogs now are midway between #1 & #2.
I think UX is still way more important, but bloggers who want to make money off of their blogs shouldn’t discount the significance of well-placed ads.

I’m guilty of it as well. Nothing to be guilty about. We do have to make a living.
Makes blogging so much more fun.
I have my ads on the sidebar and below the post (but before the comments). There’s no advertising in my folio though.
