A chatter asked me how I got that “Buy Me Coffee” Paypal donation going. It’s actually a nice wordpress plugin called Buy Me Beer. It originally asked users to donate by buying beer for the website owner. I hacked it a bit so that it would say “Buy Me Coffee” instead.
I just prefer to be treated to coffee than beer.
From the plugin’s website:
Why add a “Buy Me a Beer” button instead of a simple “Donate Money” button?
Past experience shows me that asking people to donate money by giving them a specific reason increases donations by 200%!
So now, you can get paypal, then buy me coffee. If you buy me coffee, I’ll even show you a picture of me buying the coffee.

You’re welcome, Ely! I’ll try your approach. Perhaps I’ll be able to double donations. Then again, 200% times…
