Last week I helped two people set up their own blogs. One of them now blogs about life and health while the other talks about games.

They found some great domain names which were easy to remember – okeyguys.com and justanothergame.com. Their domain names were a hit amongst our friends. In our last bowling game, we would comment “Okey guys.. this is how we get strikes.” We started our discussions with “Okey guys dot com.” When we finished 2nd in the tournament, we said “Oh well, just another game…dot com.”

Tip of the day – get a great, memorable domain name. You get more visitors that way.

As part of our deal, they bought the domain names from me. I purchased it for them and gave them web hosting. I would then regularly help manage some small details on their websites and give regular online money-making tips.

Right now, we are building up traffic and visibility. Once the sites are developed and some regular traffic is coming in, it’s much easier to get advertising for it. Application approval to the different ad networks is a cinch once the sites have around 500-1000 visitors a day.

So, anybody else need help? I’m thinking of starting an online club for this – membership entitles you to a domain name and web hosting, access to a secret forum (with money making resource materials), community support, and regular FREE online seminars.
