So I tried out this WidgetBucks gadget and immediately made $2 in two days. Now, that’s around a dollar a day for the short test. It is quite promising since it is also a Pay Per click system and the images are more enticing to click on than regular Adsense Ads.

I previously checked with Google whether I could widgetbucks with adsense. They emailed me back:

AdSense publishers may display third party advertisements on sites and pages showing Google ads as long as the formatting or color scheme of these ads is sufficiently different from the layout of the Google ads. In other words, if you choose to place non-Google ads on the same site or page as Google ads, it should always be clear to the user that the ads are served by different advertising networks and that the non-Google ads have no association with Google. If the formats are naturally similar, we’d ask that you use different color schemes for the competing ads.

As I understand it, I can put Adsense with widgetbucks but they must not look the same. Since widgetbucks looks naturally different, I shouldn’t have a problem.

However, on the third day of testing I encountered a glitch with the widgetbucks gadget. It displayed:

Data Temporarily Unavailable.

No wonder I didn’t earn anything on the third day.

I also noticed the ads displayed on widgetbucks were not really relevant to topics on my blog. I have some other blogs where this gadget will fit perfectly, but probably not on Jozzua.com

So you guys try out WidgetBucks yourself. I know Marghil is already earning from it.

it could also help increase the CTR of your Adsense when displayed near them. since their ads is eye-catchy, people will then notice the adsense ads when they are not interested with the widgetbucks ad :)

I also heard about widgetbucks at DP and posted a thread at SEOPh http://forums.seo.ph/showthread.php?t=2021 .

I am not yet into the new Ad display as i want to see first if others are having good time in clicks and in every aspect important about Ads.
