Received Text Link Ad Payments on PayPal
There’s an initial thrill when you get paid online and see some money coming in.
Today I received my first set of of Payments from Text link Ads on PayPal. It wasn’t really that big, but just getting money online is a great feeling.
Really now, ever since the PayPal service became fully active locally, it has opened up a world of opportunities for Filipinos. I’ve written some quick tips for those who want to make some money. I think, at this point, I can really say something about it because I have done it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not rich yet from my online ventures. Still, the opportunities are there.
Text Link Ads is just one of the ways to get some money. Now, I just have to get my Unionbank card so I can easily get the cash from Paypal.

Which is more thrilling to you, seeing those payments rapidly appear in your Paypal account? Or waiting 3 weeks to open an envelope containing a check? :-)
I had an initial thrill with the envelop thing as well. I think anything that’s NEW is really just exciting.
I’m still a bit skeptical about it. Is it really easy to withdraw your Paypal funds to a UnionBank account?
I’ll find out soon enough.
And I’ll be around when you do find out… Hehe *clink
received a payment from TLA too. :) $6 lang, hehehe. pero at least, totoong gumagana yung paypal. ilang weeks processing ng EON card? parang gusto ko ring mag-aaply.
Congratulation.. I receive mine.. The day that they activvated the Paypal for Philippines. But it is for Affiliate
I read your quick tips and am eager to apply them and jump in to the e-commerce bandwagon. If I have my site hosted by you, do you also register the domain name? Would it be a separate expenditure? Am considering also Hostgator because they accept monthly payment option so I can try 1 month first and see how things goes..Have you tried their service? Do they also register the domain name? Thanks so much in advance Jozz! When I make my first $100, surely I will give 10% as my donation! Promise! Hehehe
Hi Peach, yes the domain name is free for oneyear. Hostgator is quite good too. My officemate highly recommends it.
Really free? But payment option is for annual payment. *Sigh* expensive for a starter…Hostgator charges $15 for new domain and an additional annual renewal fee thereafter aside from hosting charges. :( hmmm. But am really overwhelmed by their hosting, it does seems fantastic. I checked another site Go Daddy and domain registration is cheaper and offers privatizations of contact information in WHOIS. Perhaps I’ll register there then do my stuff in Hostgator. Thanks to you and also to your officemate for recommending..Wish me luck!
For now I’ll make do with local mail for TLA checks, pero pag nakuha mo na ng maayos yung sayo through paypal/unionbank eon, gayahin na kita. ;)
