So I did apply for the Unionbank EON card online because of the PayPal advantages. I submitted the electronic form Friday last week. Today, I’m glad to receive this message:

Thank you for choosing UnionBank EON Card! Now you can enjoy its
fully-loaded features for a borderless banking.

We are also pleased to inform you that your EON Card will be made
available to your preferred UnionBank servicing branch after three(3)
banking days from today.

For further details, you may call our 24-hour Hotline at 84-186;
Domestic TOLL FREE Customer Service Hotline: 1-800-1888-2277
or you may reply to this email.

Please disregard this email notice if you have already claimed your
EON Card from your preferred UnionBank servicing branch.

So this would mean I can pick up my card next Tuesday or Wednesday (depending on whether tomorrow, a Holiday, is considered a banking day). I’ll keep you guys posted.
