PayPal Philippines Now Fully Active

Just after the great news from Google (allowing Payments through Western Union), we now have another update – you can now receive PayPal payments. We have long been pushing for this for quite a long time now.

For technopreneurs, this means more business opportunities. It was quite hard to get an online payment portal in the Philippines. With PayPal now fully active, you just need to sign up for an account and use the various Merchant Tools available.

Receive Paypal Payments

Then, you must have a Prepaid or Credit card. Your PayPal funds could be transferred there. The next step here would be to find out which cards will be PayPal compatible. I’ll try to do some research on this.

  5. i do a lot of ebaying and in fact do a lot of my online purchases for goods and services using paypal.

It would help out a lot of pinoys who can’t export/import shit due to credit card restrictions (where in fact some sites like amazon didnt allow shipping to the philippines due to credit card fraud)

People use it here for stuff like fund raisers etc as well.
