I find that there are more and more articles on how to make money online. Here’s a nice post at jonwaraas.com on making money online. An excerpt:
Community sites are definitely one of the best revenue generating projects you could hope for. Unfortunately, they are without doubt, one of the hardest. I wanted to talk about community sites first because it’s how I got started. About 6 years ago I set up a community site for my local music scene and invited a few people to use it, I knew exactly what the site needed as I was making it for myself as well as anyone, it was something I was involved in at the time. I didn’t really know much about Internet marketing or promotion and the site went through a couple of evolutions for about 2 years, implementing ideas and suggestions about what the members liked and didn’t like.
Jedi started out his automobile community site several years ago with a fellow entrepreneur. He’s now earning quite a lot - probably around the rate of a Philippine IT manager. (Just an estimate. He wouldn’t give me exact numbers.)
The article on Jonwaraas.com also presents other online money making ventures. Check it out.

Thanks for the link! Am such a glutton now for knowledge.hehe. Am non-techie and I think I’ve made a suicidal plunge from my honorable profession of RMT to this online craze and there’s no point turning back! I owe you three coffee and a dollar still. I did get Hostgator and still taming it for the moment so no cash flowing in. BTW, any suggestion for the ideal blogging program for starters? Is Wordpress better than B2evolution? Gracias!

Heya Peach, I’m using wordpress and most of the bloggers I know also use wordpress. YOu got hostgator? Di you also buy a new domain name? Forgot to tell you my hosting, although you pay for a year, has one FREE domain name with it.

Ok.Then perhaps it would be easier for me use wordpress! Thanks. Yup, I got a Baby Plan for Hostgator.. I have checked your hosting plan when I read your Quick tips. Indeed, your hosting services would have been cheaper if taken by the dozen - I mean 1 year= a dozen months plus the free domain name registration plus the support you are promising! Problem is am not earning that much to pay for one year plan. Perhaps if you can offer a monthly payment option then it would be more affordable for starters. I spent about P600 for an annual domain name and 1 month hosting with href=”http://secure.hostgator.com/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=peachyms”> Hostgator. :).Not bad, right? And one more thing, if you sign up as affiliate, even if you have a different host for your site, but you refer people to their services, you can get incentives..Sounds even better huh? When my site is earning, I may transfer to your hosting but remain an affiliate to Hosgator! Can’t waste dollars! hehe.
