Here’s a scenario:
You visit a lady friend for a dinner date - her treat. Ok with you since you’ve only around P100 (US$2) left in your wallet. Just enough for the bus ride home.
You go to her office and see her. As you go with her to the car, she opens it, turns on the car engine and then suddenly remembers — she needs to turn off the aircon in her office. She runs back and closes the car door. To your horror, you realize that she locked the car door. Inside the car was the key and her hand bag.
She comes back and you tell her what happened. She has a worried look on her face. Everybody with spare keys are up in Baguio City (not in town). She has a spare car key at home, which is just a few blocks away from her office. Unfortunately, the keys to her house are in her hand bag - which was inside the car.
It started to drizzle. It seems like rain will come next. The car engine is running and she fears it might overheat.
What WOULD YOU DO?
This actually happened to me and a friend just this other night. I’ll tell you what happened next week. For now, tell me what would you do in this case.

From a kid’s perspective:
What first comes to my mind is, break the window. LOL - Boys like to break things!
On second thought,
You can also panic and scream for help

Oh this has happened to me several times already - I mean leaving the keys inside the car - good thing though we always have a spare key at home. Can’t get inside the house - this happened to me several times as well (I have a “key” problem you see) and believe me I’ve done Spiderman moves many times already just to get in our house. LOL.

Depending on the location, there are a lot of locksmiths who do field work for locked cars. Sometimes even gasoline stations have these people or at least they can lead you to one. If none is available, first I’d kill the engine off by blocking the exhaust. Then I’d go back to the house to get the key, it’s probably easier to break and enter the house ;p

Carl, almost did the same thing. Thoughts in Binary, it was, unfortunately, already evening and most of the shops were closed. I didn’t know you could actually kill the engine by blocking the exhaust.
