When You’re Holding The Only Baby in a Dystopian World

I just needed to write about this. I heard some great reviews about the movie Children of Men so I had to see it. When I did, I saw this very AWESOME scene – quite INTENSE. It will almost make you cry.

The following scene is a SPOILER. When you see it, try to look and see what makes it MEMORABLE.

Have you figured out why this is an awesome scene?

The scene where they carry the baby in the middle of the gunfight and everybody suddenly stops shooting – that’s the most damn memorable movie clip I’ve seen in my life.

Wow.

    It’s amazing how most of the scene was shot in one take. All the shootings, killings, explosions, blood spills, a man cut-in-half, etc. There were no cuts and a single camera was used to take all these things as they unfold. For more than 5 minutes. It was a grand orchestration of a war zone. I wonder how many takes they did.

    Best part. When they ceased fire on account of the baby.
