A 13 Year Old Problogger and His Marketing Tactics
I really like Carl’s website on how to make money online. This little kid’s marketing tactics include a link bait through a “review me” invite. You review his website and use his specified keywords and he will link back to you. That’s standard Search Engine Optimization(SEO) link exchange.
He also creates a damn good number of wordpress themes and actively promotes these on theme submission sites – another link building tactic.
With that he’s able to get an Alexa ranking of 142,166 in just two months (He started Feb 2007). Not bad eh?
Either he’s Dad works on Alexa or this kid is really just pretty smart. I strongly suspect his Daddy (or Mommy) is a web marketer as well.
Whatever the case, he sure has a very promising career as a Search Engine Marketer.

It’s great to be a kid, he was able to spend a lot of time in his site since it is his vacation… I want one too hehe

Alam Ocab I believe is his dad. But it does seem that Carl is a smart kid and maybe he does do everything himself. And Sir Alan just looks over how he’s doing.
Let me see when I was 13… there was no Internet. May Atari na nun, so Atari 2600 ako. Tapos BMX racing and freestyle ako. Did I make money? Hmmm I sold my old second hand bike parts and used up all my money plus saved baon money to buy new parts. *LOL*
