Google is NOT A SEARCH ENGINE company
Let me clarify. It is no longer just a search engine company.
They just bought Doubleclick. Instead of being simply just a search engine company with cool new online apps here and there, they've just strengthened their position in the online advertising industry. New York Times indicates:
For months, Google has been trying to expand its foothold in online advertising into display ads, the area where DoubleClick is strongest. Google made its name and still generates most of its revenue from search and contextual text ads. The sale gives Google access to DoubleClick?s software and its relationships with Web publishers and advertisers.
Apparently Google wanted to get into the display advertising business in a big way but didn't have the relationships to make it happen. This sale puts them right smack into the center of it all. It also prevents Microsoft, its key competitor, from getting DoubleClick.
Implications? More Ads? Hopefully more income?
I hope Google doesn't become TOO corporate and become the next evil empire though. :D

I treat my themes like a plant. It grows. It evolves. You guys could probably help me out. I’m thinking of a theme that would FEEL like I was looking at the cover of a Tech magazine (like T3). Your suggested sample themes would be greatly appreciated.
