Is this the next generation of spam? It’s not enough that we get offers from all over in our e-mail in boxes. Now, we receive SMS notifications like this. There is no Philippine law for spamming yet, so all I can really do is ignore and delete.
I, however, fear the day when I get more spams that actual messages.
This would not really be a problem for me if I had opted to receive messages like those above. It is just annoying to be sent advertisements or updates without permission.
A quick mental note: Don’t give your personal cell phone to people you don’t know.
