Easy And Cheap Marketing Blog Setup
By the way, you might want to learn FREE Internet Marketing Basics (You know, so you can sell stuff online)
I just discovered a very cheap way to get a domain setup within minutes.
1. Think of keywords for your blog. For instance, if are you selling Barako Coffee, you can use ‘barakocoffee’ as your keyword phrase. You can get help from Yahoo’s overture tool for the keywords.
2. Search for a domain names. I recommend GoDaddy. Type-in “barako cofee” in the search domain box. If it is available, buy it. GoDaddy is selling some really cheap domains these days. I found out they were selling .info domains for only .99 US cents. In fact, barakocofee.info is only .99 cents! Buy it (if you want it) with your trusty credit card.
3. Set up a blogger account. If you have a Google account, you can pretty much login with that and start typing away. Go to the publishing - settings page and edit the custom domain name field. Input your domain name (in our example, we should put barakocoffee.info) in this field. You can see the full instructions on blogger.
4. Login in to GoDaddy.com and set up your domain name to connect to the blogger website.
5. Viola! You have a very cheap and easy blog! In my experience, the domain was already visible with the blog. Sometimes, however, it may take a day for the new domain names settings to be propagated around the Internet.
This is pretty much how my friend set up his blog for Katipunan, Quezon City.

Hi Jozzua,
Nice post. Just a bit, though, if you’re using GoDaddy’s domain search and found an available name, make sure you register that domain right away, if not a few days later. I’ve had several awfully bad experiences with GoDaddy when I tried searching for a domain I like, waited for a week, came back to register and shwoosh! Somebody registered that same domain already (example: cluehunter.com).

PS. do you know what platform they use for those free quickblogs that comes with a free domain? I know I have several credits for these quickblogs but I’m still hesitant to use them, as I have no idea how secure they are or if I’ll be better off messing with Wordpress instead….
hi Gabs, sorry I didn’t catch this earlier. I don’t know any free quickblogs with free domains - sorry.
