I was up late last night reading Steve Jobs’ keynote on Engadget and MacRumors.com. Guess what? He announced the Apple - iPhone . It looks like an awesome device but is quite expensive for Philippine taste. It will be available in June 2007 in the US and around 2008 here in Asia. The price goes for U$499 and $599. The device features:
- OSX operating system
- 3.5 inch wide screen
- 2 megapixel camera
- bluetooth
- WiFi
- GSM Radio + EDGE
- 8GB capacity
- proximity sensor (so your face won?t accidentally press the buttons)
- switch from portrait to landscape screen layout
- built-in speaker
- run Safari browser
You will be surprised at the lack of 3G support. Well, 3G is not really that popular in the states yet and Apple’s market is the US. Steve Wozniak loves it though. He thinks the price is actually good.
