Have a Gadgetty Merry Christmas
This Christmas has been Gadgets-time at home. I gave two mp4 players and a cellphone to my siblings. I figured it would probably keep them happy for a while. It should make them quit borrowing my own gadgets. :D
For my little brother and sister, I gave mp4 players. These devices were cheap imitations of the Ipod Nano. In one model, you could even see the word IPOD – rather blatantly. I bought these devices for around P2000 pesos (US$40) each. Each had 512mb of memory, built-in radio and a small screen for MP4 video. I’ll post the pictures here once I can get some camera shots
For my other brother, I handed him a brand new cell phone – a Nokia 1110 as I recall. It was also worth P2000 (US$40). He’s had battery trouble with his old phone so I decided to give him a new one. He really needed it.
The office was good enough to give me a bonus – a laptop. It’s a NEO Q-note Endura 505GL model. It has some cool features like a built-in camera and SD/Memory card slots. We bought it for only P31,000 (US$620). I’m also planning to get a digital camera to complement the laptop. I’d like to get some snapshots of places in Manila and have it easily transferred here. It would be helpful for my blogging.
Well, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone!
