Micheal Cheney is a talented marketing guy. He made some How-To Adsense videos which are quite enticing. If you visit his website, you will see a flash video showing you some of his personal adsense financial numbers. He claims to earn around US$19,000 per month based on what he did to improve his Adsense.
Now, for those non-tech savvy and not to aware of what Adsense is, you can visit Google’s Website to find out more about it. Basically, any web site owner can put adsense on his website to earn a little revenue. Google will then send a cheque for how much that is earned. A minimum of US$100 is required for payout. Most Filipino Probloggers use this for their revenue stream.
I decided to do some more research on this and found this interesting review of the Adsense Videos. Andy Merrett gives us a nice, no-nonsense insight to what we might’ve bought if we had been tempted to purchase the videos. Andy tells us frankly:
This course is not for even moderately competent AdSense users and website publishers. If you are an absolute beginner, with no website, no content, and no way to generate revenue, then you will probably get a lot from this information.
If you?ve read a few free Internet marketing sites, looked at successful websites, and are confident in testing on your own site, then I don?t think you?ll find much here to help you.
Now, if you would really want to know more about earning from Adsense, I greatly recommend Problogger’s Adsense Tips. At least, these tips are free. You don’t need to pay around US$97 to find out what the rest of the high end probloggers already know.
There are actually quite a number of information products around the web. They claim to tell you ’secrets’ on how to get income through adsense, affiliate networking and such. You know what these online marketers are really selling? They are selling HOPE.
Yeah, thats right. They give us HOPE that maybe if I buy this item, I’ll get additional income, or get rich or be the man’s man, etc. We can’t really blame people for getting enticed for that. It’s like the ultimate addiction. Unfortunately, this can all backfire if the info received is really not that new, relevant and useful.
We can all fall for this trap, so be careful what you see and buy on the web.

[...] After doing research on those Adsense videos, I decided to look back at how I’ve optimized my website to get some passive income. Really, I haven’t done as well as I’d hope for. I hear about people getting some 10-100 US dollars a day on Adsense. Abe of yugatech, for instance, was actually able to buy a car from blogging. [...]

Since one of the ideas is to split strings not into words, but hopefully into phrases more semantically informative than the words they are made of, doing that better should mean better suggestions, and avoiding what essentially are word n-tuples should make for smaller data and slightly faster querying.
