How to read all your favorite websites from one page

Have you heard of bloglines? It?s a nice website that allows you to subscribe to multiple RSS feeds from your other favorite websites. I use it regularly to see what?s up in the Internet world. With this online tool, you can read all your favorite websites from one page. This is how it looks like:

As you can see, I pull the news posts from CNN and Inq7. This means that I don?t have to open their websites to find out if there are updates. With a tool like bloglines, I can see all the latest posts from all the websites that I?d like to monitor. I even get to see a daily Dilbert comic strip. :)

You see, most websites now have RSS feeds. RSS means Rich Site Summary. This is basically brief website posts that can be shared and ?pulled? from other sources, allowing syndicated content. With most blogs and news websites, I can just add the URL of the website and I should be able to pull the RSS into bloglines.

Try it out for yourself. This is what you do: Go to bloglines.com, register for a new account, and try adding my website on your list (www.jozzua.com). Try adding some other interesting websites (with RSS) into your blogline. You will soon find it much easier to browse the latest updates without having to open all those websites. Isang tinginan lang!

It’s very helpful. I open bloglines every morning after reading my email. :)
