Here in Manila, most of the new graduates seem to be going to the Call Center Industry. The traditional perspective is still predominant. Look for work, a stable job, and get a career going - that’s generally the ’safe’ and ’secure’ approach to work. The newly grads aren’t into entrepreneurship, it seems.
People who go into entrepreneurship are somewhat misunderstood by people who haven’t tried it. They give strange, weird looks and ask “What don’t you get a real job, honey?”
Entrepreneurship is challenging. It forces entrepreneurs to use their heads, solve problems, and figure out what next project can put food on the table. It can be, however, much more rewarding compared to a regular 8-5 job.

It’s challenging, indeed! It definitely makes one think out of the box. That’s something school doesn’t teach you (but something you can learn from your experiences in school).
