Here’s another interesting technology from the web. Leapfish appraises your domain and gives you a dollar value for it. My website is appraised at $3,174. It evaluates the domains on a number of criteria - like whether it is on a top-level domain, if the name is a dictionary word or combination of such, and whether they have significant links online. Surprisingly, my Philpoetry.com had a whopping estimated value of $11,616.00! That was rather odd since I haven’t really done to much to market it. I also checked out the appraised value of other notable Filpino Bloggers:
- Macalua.com - $17,174.00
- Migs.Paraz.com - $34,656.00
- Racoma.net - $16,538.00
- Yugatech.com - $98,304.00 ! Wow.. they even had a note saying:
“It has been determined based on search results that this name may be
extensively valuable beyond the scope of the LeapFish.com domain
analysis tool. It is recommended that you seek the services of a
complete domain appraisal company rather than rely on this estimate.
Thank You.”
I’ve definitely a long way to go before I reach the domain values of these bloggers. Great work, Marc, Migs, Angelo and Abe!
