Useful Mozilla Plugins

If you use a Mozilla FireFox browser (like I do), you’ll get access to a good resource of FireFox Addons. Here’s a good list of what they have:

  • FlashGot – Allows the automatic download of one link, selected links or all the links of a page at the maximum speed with a single click.
  • Performancing for Firefox is a full featured blog editor that sits
right in your Firefox browser and lets you post to your blog easily.
You can drag and drop formatted text from the page you happen to be
browsing, and take notes as well as post to your blog.
  • SEOpen – If you are interested in web marketing, this tool provides some basic tools to help with search engine optimization.
Including google backlinks, yahoo backlinks, PageRank check, http
header viewer, and more. All features are available by right-clicking
on an open area of a web page, or by using the included toolbar. You need FireFox 1.5+ to install this addon. When you right-click and choose ‘mass check’, tabs will open to show you all the links pointing to your website from Google, Yahoo, MSN and Alexa.
  • Answers – gives quick definitions of words. Simply hold down Alt (or Option on a Mac) and click on any word to get a quick definition, an up-to-the-minute reference and more.

There are many other tools but these ones caught my eye.
