Happy Easter everyone! I’ve been rather preoccupied lately. There is an upcoming Philippine FAME event this week and our company is busy preparing the booth there. I’ll be there, hopefully sipping barako coffee while giving passers-by more information about e-commerce. If you’ve got time, feel free to drop by. I’ve been telling everyone on my FAME mailing list about my research last month on ‘Philippine Native Crafts’ which I posted on the AnnexStore Blog. Originally, these keywords gave only 7 results on Google. Guess what, now when I typed these keywords in google, there are at least 134,000 results! People are probably starting to realize the value of targeting keywords for business and have targeted ‘Philippine Native Crafts’ themselves. Either that or Google’s latest update has added a lot more websites on their Search Engine Results Page (SERP).
This was an enlightening exprerience and provides us with more insight on SEO. Keyword-targeting seem to really be an art form. Learning this, I have now begun further experiments on other keywords for my company’s websites - amphiltech.com and annexstore.com.
